我的老师 My "Teacher" 演讲稿
本文曾获得北京电视台、国家教育部举办的 My Teacher 英语演讲比赛优胜奖。在以“我的老师”为主题的演讲会上,这篇演讲出人意料地将计算机称作自己的老师,以吸引听众的注意。然后也用事实与推理证明计算机确实是一个“老师”,进而赢得了听众的共鸣。某些语言上的不足之处点评修改如下:
(1)在every后,territory用复数,显然是错误的。另外,表示“各个领域”,用field为好。
(2)原文时态用错了。
(3)concept是可数名词。make后的宾语补语如果是不定式的话,要省略to。另外,一般不用被动不定式,而只用过去分词。deeply也有中国式英语之嫌。
(4)help sb. (to)do,不用 doing。
ladies and gentlemen,
i have had a lot of Teachers in My school who have given me much help in My study. for their help i will never forget them. but today i am going (谢谢你访问好范文www.HaowOrD.cOM)to talk about a special Teacher of mine. this Teacher is not a human being and its name is“computer”. it has been teaching me a lot of knowledge and i appreciate it very much.
with the development of modern science and technology, computers are widely used in every teritories [every field](1) including education. how can a computer be My Teacher? how does a computer teach me? multimedia(多媒体)helps a lot in this aspect in recent years, and computer-based training (cbt) has become a popular educational medium (手段). even before the multimedia come [came](2) up, many different learning systems appeared, using the components and techniques we now associate with the term “multimedia”. multimedia components, such as graphics (动画) , animations , sound and video, make the learning process easier through visualization. animations can present many complex subjects dynamically, but human Teachers can not do this on blackboards. multimedia makes our study more lively and interesting. for example, a cd-rom disk named “encarta encyclopedia” contains 650 mb information including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts, hotwords, and database search functions. fields involved includes physical sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education and so on. when pressing a button, i can hear american president clinton's speech clip. i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world. i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. this makes physical concept to be understood deeply [ concepts understood better](3). the audio features of multimedia can greatly help me learning [learn] (4) foreign languages. with its speech output capabilities, i'm no longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.
how can i interact with a computer? there are many ways, including keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. i often use a keyboard. when i press right keys, i can see and hear whatever i want. information world is at My fingertip. i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one day.
as Teachers, computers have a lot of virtues: they are positive, they have good memories and never lose any information stored in them. they have much knowledge in every field. they can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also improve the efficiency of our study. for example, if i want to, i can skip some chapters so that i can study at My own pace.
although computers will never take the place of human Teachers, they are welcomed by more and more learners. computers will continue to evolve(发展)with the aid of modern technologies. computers are so powerful, helpful and important that everybody needs it, especially in the future! i love My computer Teacher!

My english Teacher miss li is our english Teacher. she always impresses us deeply with her lively english class.
one day when the first bell rang, the monitor stood up and said, “our english Teacher is going to have an operation today. it has not been decided yet who will give us the lesson. ”the class turned silent at his words. it seemed that no one would believe him. in fact, all of us were afraid that miss li would no longer be with us. at this moment, miss li appeared at the door. she looked tired and pale.
“i’ll be missing you badly, ”she said in a low voice, “i have asked the doctor to put off the operation till tomorrow because i don’t want you to miss a single class. ”she went on, “a new Teacher will take My place and i hope you’ll get on well with him. i’ll come back as soon as i’m better. ”
hearing this, all of us were moved to tears. what a good Teacher we have.

第五篇:我的理想英语老师the superior english Teacher in My mind
the superior english Teacher in My mind
just like helen keller needs anne sullivan, we all yearn for a superior Teacher, on whose class can we learn better, and i am no exception. the characteristics of the ideal Teacher in My mind are as follows.
he is easy-going. he would like to become one of us, sharing our happiness and relieving our worries. to us, he is more than a Teacher. he can be a sincere friend, a quiet listener, a wise adviser and a believable guide. in a word, he plays a part in our transient but treasurable college life.
he is knowledgeable. as a man of 英特尔lectual breadth, he knows so many anecdotes in english-speaking countries that he can pick it up at random. in the meantime, he is familiar with west culture, therefore his class is not limited to words and texts, but can also broaden our horizon, to which we can’t attach to much importance.
he is humor. a pat humorous tale can activate the atmosphere in class and arouse everyone’s enthusiasm to learn. in his class, study is a enjoyable game rather than a boring task. we may not be in the same age, but his humor, which bridges the generation gap, is what matters.
he is big-hearted. he can put up with our minor mistakes, telling us that growth is process of trail and error. he will show us how to make it right, rather than blow up at us. he never judge us too harshly but encourage us to try our best.
he is patient. he will explain something impenetrable to you time after time until you fully understand it. he won’t exhibit impatience which hurts your feelings. the smile on his face is your motivation to learn.
he is fair. he treats everyone in the same way, whether your scores are high or low. all students are equal in his eye, regardless of many other things.
he shows respect. he esteem the decision we made, give us the right to choose and always strong backing to us. it is with his help that we become self-independence.
every bean has its black. My Teachers may not be so perfect, but they are good enough to me. i’m deeply grateful to all My Teachers once teached me. without you,
i’m nothing.
